thank you for all your prayers, visits, phone calls, well wishes and goodies, we've had a great first few days, as crazy as it has been.
sorry i haven't had the chance to return some of your calls and emails... i promise i will before she turns 18! jk :D
i know there are many of you who wants to come visit and meet our new family member, hopefully i will be feeling better soon and we'll be more settled down and we can have some visitors within the next week or two.

i've been in the States for over ten years now, and sometimes i think i'm pretty well adjusted to life here, but once in a while, i blur out something that i can't even help but burst out laughing! so, i'm going to call them my 'fob moments'... i'll write them down whenever a good one comes up... hope you get a good laugh too!
1. just last night, i was at my friend steve's place, we were having a conversation about the clarity of the HDTV, and i say very matter of fact "of course the HDTV imagines are much crispier."
2. a while back, sam was sitting in the back seat while i was driving. like a typical guy who can't give up control, he was telling me what to do, so out of frustration, i look at the rearview mirror and yell out "sam, stop being a backstreet driver!"
3. a couple of a days ago, my 50+ while male boss and i were chatting, and i was asking him some questions about being a home owner, he said something about the house, and i replied "oh no, i don't live in a house, i live in a condom".
